Make Your Life Easier

What is a product or service that you can't live without? Does it make your life easier?

At Persolvent, we’re always looking for ways to improve projects and processes. In fact, our mission is to make life easier through innovation and technology. Since this can be applied in both personal and professional settings, we went ahead and asked team members to share any habits or gadgets that make their lives a little sweeter.

After receiving over 50 submissions, we are excited to share some genius hacks with you.

  • Use Calendly or Bookings in Office 365 to send clients a meeting link. These are convenient options instead of sending your client a list of possible dates and times, then going back and forth. A meeting link will just bring them to a web browser where they can select availability from your calendar. Calendly has a free version, and anyone who has an Office 365 subscription has access to Bookings.

  • Keep cleaning supplies in each bathroom or living area for easy access at any time. This will save you time overall come cleaning day.

  • Install a banana hook under your cabinet to save you counter space. When you don’t have bananas, just fold up the hook.

  • Download the To Do app. You can create shareable lists for packing, groceries, spring cleaning... You name it!

  • Use Asana or Notion for both personal and business projects. These can be great tools for tracking habits, creating lists, or journaling.

  • Download the Splitwise app. It allows you to track and split group bills, combine gift costs, shared expenses, etc. This way, everyone gets paid what they are owed without the headache of calculating "who spent what" and "who owes who".

  • Get inspired by Homework for Life. The idea is to write down one highlight/short story from each day. This is a fun memory keeper to look back on.

  • K9 Top Coat is a Lycra jacket for dogs. It keeps dogs from getting dirty when romping in the woods or playing at the dog park. Especially the big, fluffy dogs.

We shared all the time-saving hacks during a virtual Lunch and Learn and the outcome was a bunch of ah-ha moments and the creation of a #hacklife Slack channel so we could continue to share.  Lunch and Learns are a great way to share information and keep learning how to make life easier – either work life or home life.
